RETURN

We have an extended return scheme of 30 days for Maling og Flis AS Dept. Online shopping. The days are counted from the day you received the item. If you regret a purchase from us, the Right of Cancellation Act applies.

How do I return?

Make sure that the contents of the package are in the same condition as when received. The item must be in its original packaging, and that this is well wrapped. The original packaging must not be pasted with duct tape or anything else that could damage the box. The return label must also not be pasted directly on the packaging. If the packaging or the goods are damaged in any way, this could reduce the product’s value and thus lead to a reduction in the amount refunded to the buyer.

As soon as we have received the goods, the matter will be dealt with internally. Returns will be offset against the same payment method that you chose when ordering. You will receive an SMS and e-mail with return confirmation from us when we have received and checked the return.

It would be nice if a right of withdrawal form, return form or a small note about the reason for the return appears in the shipment, so that we can process the return as efficiently as possible upon receipt.

MyPack Collect (PostNord delivery point)

If you have collected the parcel at a PostNord delivery point, the package can be returned to the same store, or another PostNord delivery point. You can use the return label that came with the shipment to return the shipment. If you are missing a return label for your return, contact us at kundeservice@malingflis.no with your order number, as well as information about what is to be returned. We help you!

ATTENTION! It is important that goods to be returned are sent with PostNord. We cannot guarantee that goods sent with other carriers will reach us.

Postal package delivered to home

If you had the goods delivered to your home with a postal package (under 35 kg), you must contact us to have a return label sent to you. Our email address is kundeservice@malingflis.no. You can then deliver the package back to your desired PostNord delivery location. Remember to pack the return well, and protect the original packaging with suitable packaging.

Home delivery

For the return of larger goods and goods made of breakable material, we must order collection. Contact us at kundeservice@malingflis.no. In the e-mail, you must send your order number, an overview of the item(s) you wish to return, and the desired collection date. PostNord has collection on weekdays between 08:00 and 16:00.

We would like to point out that delays may occur, but PostNord will then normally contact you to provide information about delayed collection. The goods are picked up at ground level, as close to the address as the car can drive without physical obstacles. Transport is not included in the service, and the end customer is therefore responsible for transporting the returned goods to a suitable collection point.

What happens when I have returned the item?

Our aim is to process returns as quickly as possible, and within two weeks your return should be fully processed. This, provided you have given a reason for the return. When we have checked the return, you will receive a confirmation by text message and e-mail that the return has been processed.

*Remember! The item must be in salable condition when it arrives at our warehouse and it is important that the original packaging is not taped or written on. You as the sender are responsible for the return and the return cost. The return cost is offset against the shipping amount in the event of a refund. Consumables and hygiene items, such as toilet seats, cannot be returned if the seal is broken.

If you have chosen to invoice through Klarna and want to return the item(s), please notify Klarna of your return. Your invoice will then be put on hold until we have processed your return case with us.

Return to store

In our physical stores, we have an extended right of return of 30 days after purchase, as well as a 90-day right of exchange. The item/s must be returned in unopened original packaging, and a valid receipt for the purchase, or order confirmation if the item was purchased in our online store, must be shown.

We also remind you of the following:

Consumables, items with a date stamp and hygiene items cannot be returned if they have been used or have broken the seal.

Exchange of goods

Online shopping:

Unfortunately, we do not have the option to exchange items in our online store. We have therefore extended our right of return to 90 days after receiving the shipment.

Shop:

In all our physical stores there is a 30-day right of return and a 90-day right of exchange. This applies provided that the product has not been attempted to be assembled, and that it is in unopened original packaging.

Refund

Online shopping:

The amount for the returned item will be offset against the payment method you used when purchasing. You will receive a confirmation by SMS and e-mail as soon as the return has been processed by us.

If you have paid with Vipps, the amount will be refunded to the same account that was debited at the time of purchase. If you have paid with a payment card, the amount will be refunded to the same card that was used for the purchase. If you have chosen to pay with a Klarna invoice or account, the amount will be deducted from the invoice.

Shop:

The return amount can be refunded directly to a payment card, as long as it is the same card that you used for the purchase. Amounts below NOK 1,000 can be refunded in cash or by bank transfer. For amounts over NOK 1,000, the store arranges an account transfer to the desired account.

If it is more than 30 days after purchase, the product will be exchanged for another item or you can choose to receive a voucher that is valid for 1 year.

If you have returned goods purchased in our online store with a Klarna invoice/account, you must pay the invoice in full. The return amount is refunded in the store where you have returned the item(s).

Right of withdrawal on return

If you regret a purchase in our online store, the Right of Cancellation Act applies. We want the handling to be as simple as possible for both parties. In the case of a canceled purchase, the seller and buyer have certain obligations that must be followed within the provisions of the Right of Cancellation Act.

Below you will find some important excerpts from the Right of Cancellation Act:

The right of withdrawal requires that notice is given to the seller within 14 days after the delivery has been received. (cf. Section 11 of the Right of Cancellation Act).

The right of withdrawal does not apply if the goods cannot be returned in approximately the same condition and quantity, and damage or deterioration is due to negligence or a lack of care on the part of the consumer. (cf. Section 12 of the Right of Appeal Act, point a)

The return costs are borne by the consumer (cf. the Right of Cancellation Act § 15 first paragraph). The seller is obliged to repay what the consumer has paid, including shipping, within 14 days of the goods being received by the seller (cf. § 15, subsection 5).

Active action

It obligates an active action* from you in such a way that there is no doubt that you make use of your right of withdrawal. With an active action, we can deal with the case in a fast and efficient way for both parties, according to the right of withdrawal act (* ref. the 14-day deadline mentioned in the right of withdrawal act § 11).

Regardless of the status of your order, i.e. regardless of whether it has been dispatched, ready for collection or is being processed, you must contact customer service per e-mail and make us aware that you want to regret the purchase.

Passive action

If you do not collect the order and are otherwise completely passive, this will not give us any indication as to why the package has not been collected. You will then not have met the requirements set for you in accordance with § 11 and § 13 of the Right of Withdrawal Act, and thus lose the right to withdraw from the agreement. When the order is returned as undelivered, it will be credited in full and the goods returned to stock. We will send our own invoice for postage two ways, plus an unclaimed fee of NOK. 300, to cover our handling costs.
